Improvement Journey

Working Together For Better Mental Health

Care Quality Commission (CQC) Response - Making Improvements

In April’s CQC inspection the Trust was rated ‘inadequate’. The Trust Improvement Programme is designed to address both the immediate quality concerns raised by the CQC and ensure that the Trust tackles, with partners, those strategic issues which need to be resolved to deliver sustainable quality improvement for the future and to improve the delivery of the quality of the Trust’s services for the population of Norfolk and Suffolk.

  • Ensuring our services are safe;
  • Cutting waiting times and improving access to our services;
  • Transforming our culture, better staff engagement and creating a fit for purpose organisation with effective governance and leadership;
  • Transforming mental health service provision across our counties with our system partners

Supporting people to live their hopes, dreams and aspirations.

Our longer term Improvement Programme

Our long term improvement actions will be centred around five themes. You can read more about how we have approached our Improvement Programme, what progress we have made and how we know we are making a difference in our September 2022 Trust Board Paper in the key documents below.
