Are you an experienced team leader looking to work in a dev/ops environment within a complex organisation?

Your new company
This exciting opportunity is with a leading University, who are looking to recruit a Systems Development Team Leader/Manager within their large established IT function.

Your new role
As a team lead you will drive and manage a team of systems analysts working across a broad range of enterprise systems including Office 365, Identity Management Systems, End user computing systems and cloud-based solutions. As part of this role you will be key in driving the development culture and agile practices within the team and the dev/ops culture across IT Services.

You will lead the team responsible to drive the development of innovative IT services especially around cloud-based services ensuring that the University can exploit and drive innovation and improved services through technology. This will also include driving architectures, processes, policies, technology roadmap and documentation to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and in line with their digital strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will bring to the role extensive, relevant knowledge and experience of IT best practice including:
  • Experience of acting in a management, technical or team lead capacity and working with wider IT Teams and Non-technical staff to engage in new initiatives and technology adoption particularly around enterprise systems and software solutions.
  • A strong background in managing and developing a more Agile & dev/ops aligned approach with experience across Design, Architecture principles and Technology Roadmaps
  • Experience of working within a large, complex multi-site organisation with experience of managing MS Office 365, Cloud Solutions, Identity and Access Management and End User computing technologies such as SCCM would be advantageous
