In their recent staff surveys, colleagues have been telling the University hybrid working is what they want, and it’s an important part of meeting their sustainability strategy. Hybrid working will mean improved wellbeing and work/life balance for many, it will enable them to use space and time more efficiently and build a stronger culture of trust and empowerment.

Committed to flexibility of where and how to work , managers and teams will discuss how a flexible approach meets both the business and teams’ needs. Their aim is to balance a commitment to building a vibrant campus community and the need to deliver frontline services with the benefits of Hybrid Working.

Salary progression
Their competitive salaries are offered on a grading structure which provide excellent incremental progression for grades 1A – 8.
Annual leave

Their generous annual leave entitlement includes four customary shut down days over Christmas, and eight statutory bank holidays. In addition, you will receive:

- Grades 1A–5 - 26 days of paid annual leave
- Grades 6–9 – 30 days of paid annual leave

Depending on your working hours you will also have the option to buy up to ten days of additional annual leave.

Warwick learning account
If you have an employment contract issued by HR and are paid from the standard salaries monthly payroll you are entitled to a Warwick Learning Account.

Employee assistance programme

An EAP is a confidential employee benefit designed to help you deal with personal and professional problems that could be affecting your home life or work life, health and general wellbeing.

Mental health support: Togetherall

Warwick has joined 'Togetherall' platform, a Digital Mental Health Service, allowing for anonymous contributions and activity, providing staff and students with wellbeing support online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, complementing existing provision

Flu jabs
The University offers flu jabs to all employees for a small fee. These are available in the autumn term of each academic year.
Warwick sport
Warwick Sport offers you many ways to be physically active, with memberships available and options for pay per session at their new sports and wellness hub. You can also try tennis in the indoor centre, football and hockey on the 3G/4G pitches or access the climbing centre.
Free eye examination
You are entitled to a full eye examination at any Specsavers store. If you are found to require glasses solely and specifically for VDU use you will then be entitled to a pair of single vision glasses from the £45 range or £45 off any higher range. You are also entitled to request Premium Club vouchers for your and up to two family members, providing £20 off a pair of glasses if chosen from the £99 range or above in store (not available with other discounts).
UNUM dental plan
You can take advantage of a dental plan with Unum Dental, offered at preferred rates. The Dental Plan allows you to claim back on costly dental treatments through as well as routine check-ups and hygiene visits at any dentist, depending on the level of cover chosen.
Healthcare schemes

Universities and Colleges Healthcare Scheme

>You have access to the University and Colleges Health Care Scheme which offers you preferential rates on private medical insurance, offered through Jardine Lloyd Thompson Benefits Solutions.

BUPA Cash Plan

BUPA offers you preferential rates to join their Cash Plan 100. You can choose between several levels of cover dependant on your needs, allowing you to claim cashback on a wide range of health expenses.
