Project Support Officer (Senior Executive Officer)

Candidates will be sifted on the basis of a personal statement. The CV is for information purposes only and will not be marked.

If you are successful at the sift stage you will be invited to interview which will be a blended approach consisting of technical based questions and strengths based questioning.

The Project Delivery Capability Framework (PDCF) associates 10 behavioural competencies and 19 technical competencies for the Project Support Officer role. Within the PDCF are various levels to which these apply. These are at Expert, Practitioner, Working and Awareness Level.

The role is a Level 3 Project Support Officer (as defined within the Project Delivery Capability Framework). It is important to note the differences between the levels and further information can be found within the PDCF.

Feedback will not be provided at the sift stage.

Sift will take place from 16th May 2022.

Interviews will take place week commencing 6th June 2022.

We will try to meet the dates set out in the advertisement. There may be occasions when these dates will change. You will be provided with sufficient notice of the confirmed dates.

We are closely monitoring the situation regarding Coronavirus, and will be following Central Government advice as it is issued, as such you will be invited to attend a video interview utilising Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to time constraints we may not be able to offer alternative interview date(s). It is therefore expected that candidates who are successful at sift stage will make themselves available during the above time frame given.

For HEO & SEO Project Support Officer campaign the matching process will take place week commencing 27th June 2022 onwards.

Those candidates successful at interview will go through a matching process. This will be whereby the Home Office Resourcing Team in conjunction with the projects and programmes will look to match successful candidates to specific roles. At this point working patterns and travel liability for the role can be discussed with you.

Candidates will be matched to roles on the basis of business need and priorities.
