RCW:

Once probation is passed, if you do not yet hold the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) you will be enrolled on this Ofsted required qualification.

Upon successful completion, your salary will increase to Level II on the salary scale. Following a further year of service, your salary will increase to Level III on the salary scale.

If you join the company with the Level 3 Diploma, you will begin on Level II of the salary scale and will increase to Level III following two years of service. All increases to salary will be subject to a successful annual appraisal.

SRCW:

Following your first-year post probation sign off, you will be eligible for a salary increase to Level IV on the salary scale and Level V following the second year. In addition to this, following your second year, you will be eligible to be enrolled on the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.

To be eligible for enrolment for this course you will have to had demonstrated the willingness, ability, and capacity for management responsibilities such as supervisions, overseeing staff, and helping to shape and implement all safeguarding policies and procedures – all key criteria in determining whether an increase in salary is awarded.

All salary increases are subject to a successful annual appraisal. Staff who have successfully completed the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare will receive an increase in salary to Level VII on the scale and will be eligible for Deputy and Registered Manager roles.
