The office location sits directly on the edge of War Memorial Park a peaceful area for lunch breaks and walks
Eastrop Park is a 10 minute walk from the Council office. The Council is also responsible for maintaining this and the procurement team helps support the ongoing maintenance, cleaning and future growth of the site, with large value procurements potentially being needed over the coming years to aid best use of the waterways.
The offices are well placed in the town centre. Close to the historic top of town with café’s and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to Festival Place. Basingstoke also hosts the Malls shopping centre, owned by the Council so we provide procurement support for maintenance, refurbishment and development of this area.
The office is 13 minute walk from Basingstoke Train station, 5 minutes from Basingstoke bus station and good driving connections with M3 access.
- 28.5 days each year, pro-rata Holiday entitlement increases after 5, 10, 20 and 30 years’ service to a maximum of between 34.5 and 38.5 days (depending on grade).
