Interview process
Applicants will be required to undertake a range of assessment activities consummate to the role of Head of School and to demonstrate how you meet the requirements of the job description and personal specification. These activities will include:
- Demonstration of teaching through a lesson observation.
- Demonstration of advanced mathematics or advanced applied mathematics knowledge and skills, due to the high calibre of student ability (often equivalent to undergraduate level ) expected in the Mathematics school and evidenced at other Mathematics schools.
- Demonstration of passion and knowledge of Post 16 Mathematics teaching and learning pedagogy, and curriculum intent, implementation and impact.
