Following the appointment of Neil Henderson as Director of People in June, our team has undergone a significant restructuring, as detailed in the structure chart.
Our team now encompasses Payroll, Pensions & Benefits team alongside the HR team, and has recently moved to a newly refurbished, open-plan office space at Westminster Great School.
We are excited to support a new phase in the School’s history as we transition to fully co-educational and expand to include early years. Our expansion plans have commenced and the strategy for delivering these developments is in place and will take us through to 2030.
We are starting on a new journey for the People function here at the School, with a People Strategy currently being developed which will underpin the daily activities of the team. There are many ongoing projects and activities for the team to be involved with, not least the implementation of a new HR & Payroll system, along with a total reward review, whilst also enhancing activities in respect of staff development, Wellbeing, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Key priorities for our team are:
- Implement Payroll and HR System (HRIS)
- Develop a People Strategy, and review Policies and Procedures
- Enhance Recruitment, Onboarding & Induction
- Build Staff Capability & Development
- Develop Health & Wellbeing framework
- Enhance and embed Equality, Diversity & Inclusion activities
- Review Rewards & Benefits (Total Reward Review)
- Promote Staff Engagement
