Broad business partnering / people partnering role working with the prestigious Westminster School!

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People Partner to join our HR & Payroll Team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our staff, across The Great School and The Under School. As a People Partner, you will provide proactive and reactive guidance on all areas of people management, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to deliver respected and valued advice on people management issues
  • Coach and train management and staff on HR policies and procedures
  • Embed Ethos, Values and Vision and Wellbeing activities across the School
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Support colleagues across the team on policy development, implementation and projects as required
  • Work with wider team to deliver and enhance the service and customer experience

What you'll need to succeed

  • Member of the CIPD or equivalent (minimum Level 5)
  • Proven experience in HR partnering support
  • Pragmatic knowledge of current and relevant changes to employment law and best practices
  • Demonstrable record of delivering effective, solutions-based employee relations casework support
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, employees, and their representatives
  • Able to be present in the office on all working days (i.e. non-hybrid role)
