Welcome and thank you for taking the time and interest to find out more about the University of Northampton and our Estates & Campus Services department.

At the University of Northampton, we do things a bit differently. We are on a mission to develop the Changemakers of the future and provide them with the knowledge, skills and support to be all that they can be.

What matters most to us is ensuring that our students, graduates and staff have the opportunity to make their mark on the world, that’s why in 2012 we were the first University in the UK to be named as a Changemaker campus, and why in 2018, we took the bold decision to open our brand new, state of the art, Waterside Campus designed around the learning experience.

We are seeking exceptional, proactive and highly motivated maintenance and building services candidates to join our award-winning Estates & Campus Services department, supporting delivery of the Estate Strategy and departmental objectives.

Estates & Campus Services is one of the largest departments at the University of Northampton, with over 250 colleagues managing and supporting 27 academic or support buildings across 8 locations, and c. 2,400 bed spaces across 10 accommodation buildings, whilst also driving to improve our environmental credentials and reach Net Carbon Zero by 2030. We have a committed team who deliver exceptional, sector leading facilities and services, which in turn support and improve the student and staff experience, Transforming Lives and Inspiring Change.
