Thank you for taking the time to visit this dedicated recruitment microsite, we have partnered with Hays to carry out this very key recruitment campaign with opportunities within our OD & HR team.

It’s an exciting time to consider joining Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and specifically the OD & HR Team. Over the last year, we’ve undertaken a review of our approach to organisational development and human resources, including payroll. The purpose of this was to get a better understanding from our key clients (senior managers, line managers, staff, unions, etc.) on how we deliver our service to best support them, in the way they need it, helping to ensure we ultimately deliver great services for residents, businesses and visitors to our Borough.

From this review our key focus will include:

• Adopting new OD & HR Strategy (currently in draft as at Nov 2023) with the outcome of a clear forward plan of priority actions
• Process improvements within our team, in terms of how we can streamline our OD, HR and Payroll services
• Providing clearer OD & HR guidance on key policies and processes for managers and staff

The review also addressed what service operating model we need to best support the delivery of our OD & HR priorities and provide the required level of support for our clients - specifically what resource, skills and team structure we need.

Our new structure is now live and as a result, we are seeking a number of OD, HR and Payroll professionals to help us implement the changes identified from the review and deliver our refreshed services to our clients. View our structure here.

There is plenty to deliver and you will find that genuinely no two days will be the same! We take our work seriously of course but we do also have fun.
