New Boundaries Group is a local care organisation based in Felthorpe, Norwich, with 10 care homes for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Our homes are situated across Norwich and are managed in their own community setting with the benefit of being part of a larger organisation.
At New Boundaries Group our mission is to provide person centred support in a safe environment where people are enabled to make choices and develop independence in a modern society. The group cares for service users who have complex learning disability needs and whose mental and social needs would benefit from living in a small group environment.
Dee Mauree opened his first home, Boundary House, close to Norwich in 1995. From this small start he developed a substantial company based on quality of care for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Today the group has more than a dozen homes around the Norwich area. Dee has over 40 years’ experience as a clinical nurse specialist working with individuals who have learning disabilities and complex needs. He left the NHS in 1995 to concentrate on developing specialised community based residential homes for this client group.
Our aims and guiding principles for our service users have remained constant since the opening of the first home in 1995.
