We are delighted to showcase a brilliant opportunity of becoming Finance Officer / Deputy Clerk for Abbots Langley Parish Council, joining a highly skilled and experienced team dedicated to serving the residents of the Parish through the provision of services such as venues for private and group functions, allotments, parks, play areas and sports facilities.

The role of the finance officer will encompass all the financial operations of the council, similar to that of a successful SME with an annual turnover of £1m. Hands on accounting control including ledger maintenance, VAT, payroll management and budgetary and financial reporting are all part of this integral role. The secondary function is to act as deputy to the Chief Officer, managing meetings and supporting in statutory matters of the council’s operations.
