About Wirral School for Girls
Wirral Grammar School for Girls is a vibrant, ambitious and high-achieving all girls Grammar School in Bebington, Wirral. There are currently 1198 on roll including 300 in the sixth form. The school was established in 1931 and became an Academy in 2011. It is graded by Ofsted as Outstanding.
Results are perennially high at both GCSE and A level across the curriculum and the school consistently tops local and national performance tables. It is a warm and caring school with the focus on developing the students as well-rounded individuals.
The school is defined by its core values of respect and kindness, the importance of hard work and its work in the wider community.
