Wightwick Hall School is a joyful, caring, and successful school where students are encouraged to reach their full potential as global citizens who are fully prepared for adult life. Wightwick Hall School is a generic special secondary school, that caters for learners from age 11 years to 19 years.  It operates through a pathways model; this enables it to meet the vast and varied needs of the learners on role.  Throughout its approach it ensures that all students work to achieve accredited outcomes.

We strive for excellence in leadership at every level and ensure all students receive an adapted curriculum approach, that includes high-quality teaching to best meet their needs. 

• We are seeking an outstanding professional with the right experience and skills to lead the school into its next phase. Whilst a candidate with expertise and experience in special school leadership is preferred, it is not essential. The successful candidate will be well-supported by a committed MAT central leadership team, dedicated governors, and trustees.
• In addition to leading the school, we are looking for applicants with entrepreneurial drive to support growth and generate income for the benefit of our students. This is a non- teaching post, although the new Headteacher is expected to demonstrate and recognise outstanding teaching practice and be skilled at using this knowledge to enable practise in the school to cater for its very diverse intake.

In preparation for the growth of the trust, we have developed the central team.  The team is made up of skilled and experienced professionals who are best placed to guide, support and challenge to ensure our schools provide the best education for our learners.  Support is provided to the central team and broader schools by dedicated administrative employees.
