Your role will be to become part of a small but tightly knit team who are responsible for the firm’s finances. The team is very “hands on” and flexible. We are prepared in step in to support our colleagues at all levels within in the team in order to ensure that work is completed accurately and to deadlines.

You will be a key leader within the team, learning what makes Thorogood unique, helping manage our global Finance presence and needs in each location, and learning our core processes and information needs and then helping to drive change within our team and in collaboration with the teams managing our internal systems.

The team achieves a lot with limited and outdated tools. Our goal is to move the team firmly into the 21st century, operating at a level of sophistication that matches the complexity and technical demands of the group of entities. We are looking to drive change in the way we work and how we collaborate and improve while still providing exceptional service to our Board, our management teams and our consultants.

At Thorogood, we have all been working remotely since March 2020. Our aim is to move towards hybrid working once we feel it is safe, with an appropriate combination of remote and in-person.
