I am delighted that you have shown an interest in coming to work here at The Oldershaw School.

This is a school with a rich history and one where we are making great strides to ensure that its reputation is only enhanced for the generations who follow. We are proud that we are very soon able to deliver on our promise of guaranteeing all our students the best possible preparation for their next stage. We want all our students to achieve their potential, and to hopefully remember their school days fondly for many years to come. 

As a school we want all our employees to enjoy working here at Oldershaw. That means looking after the wellbeing and the career needs of everyone, to ensure that we put in place well designed career development pathways and equip everyone to progress through these at the right pace for them. In short, any member of staff employed here at Oldershaw will have opportunities to access high quality training and advance their career. Hopefully that will be with us, but where that is not available, then at least we will have provided you with the best possible training for your new role and our students will have benefitted from your dedicated enthusiasm during your time with us.

Our school represents an area of relatively high deprivation, and the many challenges that are inevitably associated. We desire staff who want to make a difference and who are committed to helping our students develop into the very best versions of themselves. We want people who are ambitious for themselves, and who possess the drive and energy our students deserve.
