The Trust are in the process of building a stand alone data warehouse, designed as a single platform to ingest data from all Trust systems, creating a single source from which we can deliver operational and clinical dashboards. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate significant practical experience in architecting, designing and delivering solutions to deliver the Trust’s vision. This will need an in-depth knowledge of Data Lakes, Data modelling techniques, Data security management, ETL / ELT pipelines and orchestration products. The role will work with Microsoft SQL Server and Query optimisation, Unicode Collation sets and for integration architecture will use REST APIs and FHIR/HL7 messaging.
The role will manage and build a small team using Agile project management methodologies to deliver the Trust’s data programme. As well as having a robust practical knowledge of programming languages, you’ll need to be a good communicator and able to translate complex technical concepts to audiences at all levels. By placing data at the heart of our strategy, you will also enhance productivity and efficiency, deliver products and services that resonate with colleagues and patients, enable confident decision-making and ultimately showcase our credentials as a pro-active, innovative and patient-focused Community NHS FT which operates at the forefront of our sector.
