While current government guidance is that people should continue to work from home if they are able to until at least 21 June, The Royal Borough of Kingston want to ensure they are being as careful and diligent as possible as we continue to take action against the spread of the virus. Therefore, staff are not expected to come into the office before September unless there are specific reasons for doing so. Like many organisations, The Royal Borough of Kingston are considering how they work in the future. They are exploring a new workspace model after September consisting of a hybrid approach with much greater flexibility for people to work from home if they want to and different, more collaborative uses of their spaces and places suitable and safe for new ways of working.
They have a modern working environment for their staff allowing you to work flexibly whilst on the move from your mobile or Chromebook, and at home following the introduction of Google Mail and Apps which have acted as a key enabler for collaborative and streamlined working.
