About The Northern Ireland Civil Service

Hays are delighted to be working in Partnership with NICS for the supply of interim SO and DP accountants, working to support the 9 key departments across health, public finances, social development, justice, education, regeneration, environment, culture, agriculture, economic development, employment and transport. Along with these 9 departments Hays will also be supporting several Non-Departmental Public Bodies with Interim SO and DP accountants.

The Northern Ireland Civil Service comprises nine Departments that support the Northern Ireland Executive and Ministers. They do this by developing and implementing government policies and legislation and delivering key public services in areas such as health, public finances, social development, justice, education, regeneration, environment, culture, agriculture, economic development, employment and transport.

In addition, the Public Prosecution Service is staffed by civil servants.
