While working from home is not new to the Council it has recently implemented a very popular hybrid policy and most staff now work from home as well as in the office.

Pension scheme
When you work for Mole Valley you will be able to join the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – you can opt out if it’s not for you. The pension scheme will be a valuable part of your pay and reward package.

Transport links
Leatherhead and Dorking are easily accessible by bus or train (Dorking has three train stations!). Their offices are only a few minutes’ walk from the stations.

Plenty of parking spaces at Pippbrook, Park House, the depot and the Fairfield Centre.
Annual leave
You’ll get 24 days annual leave. This will go up at the rate of one day per year to a maximum of 28 days after five years. (This is pro rata’d for part-time staff). It is additional to bank holidays. You will need to use one day of your annual leave entitlement between Christmas and New Year.
Cycle scheme
You can purchase a bike tax-free via the government’s Cyclescheme.
Discounts
Discounted memberships at Dorking Sports Centre and Leatherhead Leisure Centre. Discounts to see films and shows at Dorking Halls and the cafe! Discounts for lots of other businesses in Mole Valley too.

They’ll invest in you: Mole Valley are a member of the Surrey Learn Partnership, which provides training courses across Surrey. They also have an e-learning package, offering a range of courses.
There are stacks of opportunities for enhancing your work skills too. Every year, Staff Hub are on the look out for volunteers to join them to work on interesting cross cutting projects with the Strategic Leadership Team.
