The Shaw Education Trust is delighted to invite applications for the post of Headteacher for The Meadows Primary Academy. The Meadows Primary Academy has the advantage of being set in beautiful grounds and has modern, light and spacious buildings along with extensive fields and play areas. Our facilities have expanded over the years in line with the growth in pupil numbers and the school was totally rebuilt fifteen years ago.

We have a dynamic team of exceptional teachers and support staff who act as exemplary role models, educating and nurturing each child, enabling them to achieve high standards of academic attainment, while also enabling them to become capable, caring and confident human beings.

We are a lively community fully focussed on learning and with high ambitions. This school is part of the Shaw Education Trust. Candidates must be a role model and be able to demonstrate recent, successful and sustained impact as a senior leader in a primary setting. Your inspirational energies and people management skills will harness a collective pride and motivation which will trigger accelerated performance and awesome outcomes for the young people. You should have the creativity and vision to inspire and lead change but also the focus to ensure successful accountable outcomes are reached. Your positive and collaborative attitude will nurture, inspire and engage the young people, parents/carers, staff and the local community and see the school recognised as a beacon of excellence. You must be confident, approachable and have the skills to build high performing teams and a positive culture. Above all, you will share the school and the Trust’s relentless focus on providing the very best for all its young people with a vision for continuing success and future development.
