The Technical Services Team as part of  the wider Property team is the lead on Carbon Net Zero across the 200 corporate sites, in the last 18 months the team has installed Air Source Heat pump systems to provide heating and hot water in six of the larger buildings at a cost in excess of £1.5 Million funded from various sources, the team is also responsible for the operation of the brand new Town hall  a redevelopment of the old Royal London site in excess of £100 million which is BREEAM excellent and has no Gas supply relying on Air Source Heat Pumps. The team is also mobilising for the hand back of six leisure centres which it will be responsible for the PPM and compliance regimes as well as involvement in capital improvement works.
