Legal & General is proud to have such a diverse workforce.

But L&G also know there is always more to do. L&G want to see more women in senior roles, encourage more people to continue their careers past retirement age, and support more parents in returning to work.

L&G also want to maintain and grow and environment where all people, whatever their age, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation, feel supported and able to thrive. The following are just some of the ways in which L&G are currently acting on the commitment to diversity in L&G offices across the organisation.

Diversity champions partnerships — As a business, L&G are members of a number of organisations who advise on and champion diversity across the workplace such as Opportunity Now, Race for Opportunity, Stonewall and the Disability Forum.

50/50 by 2020 — L&G are committed to improving gender diversity in the workplace and run a 50/50 by 2020 network designed to help achieve just that. The network runs regular speaker and networking events and is open to all L&G employees.
