Skills and Learning Academies work by transforming the traditional recruitment process and how people gain access to new careers. They are unique, apprenticeship-style pathways, which empower people from a variety of backgrounds (regardless of experience and/or qualifications) to develop their digital and technical skills, all while working within a number of exciting organisations. Successful applicants are trained as part of a 10–12-week bootcamp, before being deployed to work with one of our client organisations. You’ll be paid throughout training, with an increase in salary once you’re deployed into a 21-month placement. You'll also receive a wealth of support, coaching and mentorship throughout the remainder of the 2-year programme.

The application process is simple. There’s an initial application with sifting questions, followed by a telephone interview and a day-in-the-life assessment. We offer workshops at each stage of the process to support you every step of the way.

Whilst you require no qualifications to apply, many of our academies (but not all) are funded by the Government’s Apprenticeship Levy, which requires eligible candidates to have lived in the UK and EEA for the last 3+ years, to be a UK national or have the appropriate visa/immigration status as defined. All eligibility requirements will be clearly outlined on the job description so please check this before submitting an application.

Joining is free! Not only do our academies provide industry-leading training, but (even better) also offer fully paid job opportunities. Therefore, if successfully selected for the Academy of your choice, you will be paid from day one.

The Skills and Learning Community is an extension of our academies, allowing us to expand support to individuals already on our programmes and to those yet to be selected. That’s why members of the community can access and benefit from all the resources and support within it for free.
