Hasmonean Multi-Academy Trust is a centre of academic excellence in North West London. The performance of the two schools in the Trust – Hasmonean High School for Boys and Hasmonean High School for Girls - puts them amongst the very top comprehensives in the country. Students attain consistently high standards in their GCSE and A Level examinations. Teacher of Jewish Studies - Camden - MPS/UPS

We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher of Jewish Studies, who would like to work with, and contribute to, the development of highly motivated students.

Applicants must have excellent subject knowledge and will be expected to teach Key stage 3 & 4.

Come and join our culturally diverse and friendly staff at Hasmonean, with students who engage in their learning and enjoy being with an intellectual impairment

Our training and development programmes for staff are exceptional and highly regarded, with 5 teachers achieving QTS/QTLS in the past 5 years and a further 3 enrolled in the course this year. All new teachers are provided with a mentor within the Kodesh department.

Our Kodesh provision delivers lessons on Gemara, Chumash, Nach, Halacha, Tefilla, Biblical Hebrew, Sedra and Religious Studies. Each subject area has a developed scheme of work and prepared resources to support new teachers.

There are also many opportunities to be involved in the Jewish Life of the school such as leading davening, assemblies, lunch and learn, Shabbatons, the Poland trip and informal HIPE events.
