Your new role
Hasmonean Middle School is looking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic individual to lead safeguarding, welfare and attendance for Years 7 and 8. This is a key pastoral leadership role, working closely with the Heads of Year to ensure that every student is safe, supported and able to thrive.

The successful candidate will have a strong presence, excellent communication skills and a sharp eye for detail. You will take both strategic and operational responsibility for safeguarding investigations, student wellbeing initiatives and attendance improvement across the two year groups.

You’ll work closely with the DSL and the safeguarding team, liaise with families and external agencies, and ensure accurate record-keeping. You’ll also lead on attendance strategy, support persistent absentees, and promote a culture of care, resilience and inclusion.
