Our thriving college and Sixth Form is situated in the heart of Hailsham, an historic market town nine miles north of Eastbourne, surrounded by attractive Sussex countryside and downland.

We believe in high standards, respect for others, hard work, self discipline and active involvement in the life of the community. Our students enjoy college life and subsequently, by the end of their time with us emerge as confident, secure and well-qualified individuals, ready to face the challenges of Higher Education and employment.

Hailsham Community College aims to create a learning culture which fosters high aspirations for all. We want all of our students to develop a curiosity and an appetite for learning, and to complement the curriculum we offer a huge array of enrichment activities that range from after-school clubs to team-building events and overseas visits. We strive to offer something for everyone and encourage all students to get involved. Our excellent relationship with parents/carers is at the heart of all we do, and we firmly believe that effective communication between home and school is the key to success.
