People Strategy
"Culture of Good Work"
Goldsmiths’ ten-year strategy is underpinned by a culture of good work which we will achieve through an engagement plan focuses on good management and HR practice laying out the actions over a two-year period. The plan is divided into nine areas for action which are:

- Empowerment
- Development
- Good management
- Looking after our staff
- Hiring
- Investing in people management systems
- Equality, diversity and inclusion.
There are thirty individual actions associated with the plan. We regularly check on what our staff think though a focus groups, a full staff survey and pulse surveys. Every member of POD has a contribution to make to this plan. This year we have a particular emphasis on digitalising our processes and producing good management information, including the recruitment processes.
