Apprenticeship Scheme and Training

There will be a three week training period to providing you with the appropriate skills and expertise to assist patients, conform to the standards required for the Ambulance Service and ensure you maintain your own personal health and safety. You will be paid for training. Training will be held across four locations; Newmarket, Welwyn Garden City, Norwich, and Chelmsford. Accommodation and meal allowance will be available for those who live more than 1 hour from the training centres if required.

There is also 3 day driver training will also need to be completed and these are held in two locations in Barton Mills, Suffolk and Writtle, Essex. You must have a manual driving license to be applicable for this training.

Healthcare Assistance apprenticeships may be offered to those applicants who are deemed suitable.
