Location: 37 Bridge Street, Haverfordwest
Contract: 8th May 2026
Pay Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.90/hr PAYE OR £19.34/hr (umbrella company).


Job Purpose: The Closure Works Engineer is responsible for carrying out full IT reinstallation activities during branch or site closures. This includes performing a complete sweep of the location to ensure all IT equipment has been identified, removed, documented, and prepared for return to the Regional Distribution Centre (RDC). The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to process, and the ability to work independently on-site while coordinating with central teams.



Key Responsibilities:

IT Deinstallation & Site Sweep
Complete a full deinstall of all IT equipment across the branch, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, network devices, telephony, and any associated hardware.
·Conduct a thorough sweep of the site to ensure no IT kit is left behind.
·Identify, label, and record all removed assets in line with company asset‑tracking procedures.

Kit Collection & Logistics
Prepare all collected IT kit for transport to the RDC.
Ensure all items are securely packaged, labelled, and documented.
Work with logistics teams to arrange timely collection and transfer.
Maintain accurate records of all kit removed and handed over.

Compliance & Documentation
Complete all required closure documentation, including deinstall checklists, asset logs, and sign-off forms.
Report any discrepancies, missing kit, or damaged equipment.
Follow all health & safety and security protocols while on-site.

Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with the Project Manager, IT Operations, and RDC teams to ensure smooth closure activities.
Communicate progress, issues, and completion status in real time.
Escalate any blockers or unexpected findings promptly.

Site Standards & Professionalism
Represent the organisation professionally while working on customer or branch premises.
Ensure the site is left clean, safe, and free of IT equipment after deinstall.

Skills & Experience Required
·Experience in IT hardware reinstallation, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), or field engineering.
·Strong understanding of end-user devices, peripherals, and basic networking hardware.
Ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate documentation.
Comfortable working independently on-site.
Strong organisational and time ‑ management skills.
Full UK driving licence (desirable depending on travel requirements).
