Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2.

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Hub Technician to manage ticket queues, stock, and hardware repairs while ensuring compliance with service-level agreements. This role is critical in maintaining smooth operations across our Hub and surrounding spokespeople.

  • Location: Helston
  • Working Hours: 09:00am to 5:00pm
  • Contract Duration:1-Dec-25 till 30-June-26
  • Daily Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.54/hr PAYE) OR £18.87/hr (umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ticket Management: Handle and update tickets assigned to the Hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service levels.
  • Stock & Asset Management: Manage Hub stock, including scanning items in/out of locations and maintaining accurate asset records.
  • Disposal Management: Oversee and process disposals through the Hub in line with contractual obligations.
  • Hardware Repairs: Triage and perform repairs on in-warranty equipment; coordinate with vendors for parts and returns.
  • Locker Replenishment: Ensure lockers are replenished as required.
  • Service Improvement: Identify potential service issues and suggest improvements to the Team Leader.
  • Compliance: Follow all agreed processes and procedures, including site regulations and company standards.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in IT support or hardware maintenance.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with asset management and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
