Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician to manage and maintain end-user devices and peripherals across a hub/spoke operational model. This role involves extensive travel between sites, hands-on technical support, and coordination with service providers to ensure smooth IT operations and high service levels.

  • Location: High Wycombe - High Wycombe
  • Daily Rate: £14.54/hr – PAYE, £18.87/hr – UMB
  • Contract Day: Oct 2025 till 31-Mar-26 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ticket queues and resolve incidents using ServiceNow (preferred).
  • Oversee hub stock levels and coordinate effective disposal of obsolete items.
  • Triage and coordinate repairs of faulty devices and peripherals.
  • Replenish lockers and ensure availability of IT assets across locations.
  • Engage with service providers to escalate and resolve technical issues.
  • Identify recurring problems and propose service improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and service activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to end users across multiple sites.

Key Requirements:
  • Basic IT knowledge (hardware/software troubleshooting).
  • Strong customer-facing skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Highly organised and detail oriented.
  • Valid manual driving licence (essential for travel).
  • SC Clearance (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 90% of the role).
