End-User IT Support Engineer

About the role
As an End-User IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Deskside and floorwalking support during the migration from Zoom to Microsoft Teams.

Location: Gogaburn, Edinburgh
Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
Contract Duration: 29/10/2025 – 27/03/26
Rate: in-scope IR35, of £14.54 (PAYE) OR £18.87 (Umbrella Company)

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Setting up/joining meetings, calls, and chat
  • Sharing and collaborating on documents in teams
  • Troubleshooting login or MFA issues
  • Fixing Teams/Outlook calendar integration
  • Resolve end-user issues (audio/video not working, connectivity problems, app crashes, sync errors).
  • Coach colleagues on “how do I?” questions (e.g. sharing screens, adjusting notifications, using the mobile app).
  • Direct users to self-serve resources and digital training content.
  • Capture recurring issues and knowledge gaps to feed back to the project team.
  • Carry out other related support tasks as required.

Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
  • Experience in IT hardware handling or similar roles is desirable.
