About the role
As an IT Migration Support Technician, you will be providing execution of the ELS Refresh Clinic and the role involves hands-on support with device migration, system updates, and inventory management.
Location: Upavon - Pewsey
Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) from 09:00am to 5:30pm
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Rate: in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr (PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the setup and operation of the Refresh Clinic onsite.
- Relocate devices from storage to clinic as directed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Log into systems using provided devices under supervision
- Perform laptop refresh procedures according to project standards
- Accurately update workflow management systems at each stage
- Collaborate with Post Migration Technical Support and Site Manager for guidance.
- Conduct and report daily manual stock checks
- Secure all devices in storage at the end of each day
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
- Active SC Clearance is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Comfortable working in a structured, high-security environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
