A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for Security Cleared Senior Project Managers to support Enterprise-level customers on IT projects.
6-month contract,
Remote role with some occasional travel to sites,
Competitive day rates - Inside IR35
Valid SC Clearance required
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll manage complex, high-risk projects, multiple projects, or significant work-streams within larger programmes.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to meet commitments to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of assignments as defined in project documentation.
This includes achieving agreed financial outcomes and understanding our offerings and technology.
Your key tasks include team management, effective communication, project controls, and delivering high-quality outcomes to customers.
Collaboration with sales teams and Service Management is essential, and you'll be involved in pre-sales activities like bid production, client presentations, and negotiations.
You will be working independently or as part of larger teams, with varying locations based on the assignment.
Skills and knowledge required
Familiar with the latest technologies and able to articulate their benefits in line with propositions.
Trained in project management methodologies like Prince2 Practitioner or Agile
Proven track record in Project Management & delivering complex, high-risk assignments and multiple successful outcomes.
Strong leadership skills and personal gravitas.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships, able to communicate using multiple methods and with project stakeholders both internally and externally
Ability to apply Emotional Intelligence and adapt personal style to meet customer needs
Skilled in influencing stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Understand the broader context of the project
Ability to articulate the value of project management to customers
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Willing to travel when required
