Technical Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Operative 1 to join our growing Configuration Department. The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient support to our clients by delivering basic to intermediate level IT Configuration services. This role requires a self-sufficient individual who can Manage their workload within timely parameters and ensure high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Installation and Configuration: Perform software installations and configurations within existing IT infrastructure or pre-designed projects, ensuring compliance with detailed scripts and company standards.
• Bespoke System Work: Handle bespoke system configurations and in-house systems with training provided.
• Communication: Maintain strong and effective communication skills to interact with varying levels of stakeholders and provide accurate up-line reporting.
• Data Input: Perform manual data entry on spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail (25-50% of the role).
• Consignment Consolidation: Be aware of how individual assignments contribute to the entire order and work effectively to meet overall targets. Communicate any schedule changes with Supervisors/Team Leaders.
• Pallet Movement/Work Planning: Manage the movement of pallets and plan work effectively.
• Target and SLA Management: Work to driven targets and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Physical Tasks: Box and unbox IT equipment as required.
