The Pensions Board’s Housing team is a great place to work, where your property surveying experience can truly make a difference. Our team are committed to serving our residents, providing them with quality, safe, energy efficient modern homes. And this is a unique opportunity to bring your property maintenance skills and knowledge to help us deliver this, within a collaborative and supportive team.

You’ll be part of delivering an annual programme of works worth around £8 million, covering everything from external repairs and internal refurbishments to energy-saving improvements. Working closely with residents, contractors, and consultants, we are looking for technical expertise and a customer centred approach, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and with minimal disruption.

The Pensions Board is one of the National Church Institutions of the Church of England, and we provide housing options for those who retire from ministry. More widely the Pensions Board is a charity which runs pensions schemes with over 30,000 members and provides grants as well as accommodation. We have recently received funding to invest into our residents’ homes and now need to add to our professional property team to deliver a long term planned maintenance function.
