About Castle Point borough council

Castle Point Borough Council are recruiting for a Revenues Manager to join their virtual Customer & Digital Services team, with head office based in Benfleet, Essex.

They are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and highly resilient person to fulfil the role of Revenues Manager. Managing and directing all aspects of a busy high profile Revenues Service, you will also play a significant role as part of our small but dynamic management team - shaping and designing key services and exploring innovative and creative service solutions across this challenging and rapidly evolving sector.

The Council is one of the largest employers in the Borough with nearly 350 staff of which half are employed directly and the remainder through contracted service providers. The Council provides for and commissions over 150 separate services - some of them statutory, while others provide for the wellbeing and benefit of the community.

The Council is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, and they expect all their employees to share this commitment. Following the appointment of a new Chief Executive, we are about to start an exciting programme of Council wide transformation, empowering our employees as key change champions to ensure that we deliver services to our residents that are amongst the best in the country.
