Why work as a carer?
Being a support worker is not only about supporting people in day-to-day life it’s about encouraging independence, having fun and supporting care users to build up their confidence and self-esteem
Domiciliary Care is a different aspect of care. The norm is generalised as residential support, where as Domiciliary Care is offering support to vulnerable adults and children in the comfort of their own home, promoting independence and enabling people to continue to be part of their local community. This means that no two days (or visits) are the same as you will be visiting a number of care users in your working day, typically visiting the same users for continuity. This enables you to build strong relations with users and colleagues, encourage independence in their local community and have fun!
Full training will be provided for every successful applicant as well as a free DBS certificate! Meaning that is not only a great opportunity for those with experience in care, but perfect for those passionate about care and wanting to start a prosperous career.
