This is a newly created and key role where you will work closely with the Managing Director to provide the strategic and operational leadership which will lead the organisation on a journey of continuous improvement. Critical to success will be the ability to develop and share a ‘deep vision’ of good care practice.
You will also work closely with the Regional Care Leads to ensure care services in the SEN division are provided to the highest standard, as measured by both internal and external stakeholders, and in a manner that reflects the Cambian values and commitment to secure best outcomes for all young people.
This will be achieved through developing, establishing and maintaining systems for effective care that support best-practice. Alongside this you must display commercial acumen in order to lead a profitable, safe and high performing residential SEN provision.
Salary: c.£67k (negotiable dependent on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience as Head of Care in a residential special school or Registered Manager of a Children’s Home, with a minimum ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, to develop their strategic leadership in this multi-site role.
You will work across a group of residential schools to oversee all aspects of care, ensuring they meet the standards and expectations contained in their Statement of Purpose as well as fully complying with regulatory requirements and recommendations.
Working closely with staff at the schools you will ensure effective practices and policies are in place and adhered to for all aspects of care, ensuring consistency of regulatory inspections and care standards. This will be achieved through rigorous quality assurance, inspiration, leadership, managerial guidance, direction and support to staff at all levels.

The Forum School in North Dorset is an ambitious and progressive residential school for young people aged 7– 19 with moderate or severe learning difficulties with a primary diagnosis of ASD, and typically with secondary conditions including attachment disorder, ADHD, ODD, PDA, anxiety, OCD, epilepsy and diabetes. The school provides 38- and 52-week residential placements and a small number of day placements.
The Forum School is on a beautiful 28 acre site with excellent facilities, which provide outstanding learning opportunities, including a horticultural young person enterprise, an outdoor riding arena, an indoor swimming pool, a cycle track, a sensory garden and a curriculum trail that winds around various curriculum-specific areas.
