About the Council

Mole Valley District Council is a dynamic and progressive local authority which delivers a wide range of high quality services. Despite the pressures of the last few years it continues to make excellent progress against its Council Strategy 2019-2024.

Over the next few months the Council anticipates agreeing a balanced budget and annual plan for 2022/23, submitting its local plan for examination, appointing a Joint Venture Partner for its major regeneration project “Transform Leatherhead”, finishing a major grant funded capital project in support of the organisation’s Carbon Management Strategy and working with voluntary and private sector partners to open a community hub as part of the exciting “Opportunity Dorking” initiative.
