Our People

Investing in our people

Our employees are important to us. As our greatest asset, we take a great deal of care to recruit hard-working, dynamic, and motivated people. If you're looking to work somewhere that offers exciting career opportunities and progression in a stimulating, friendly and rewarding environment, then YPO could be the place for you.

Our future leaders

At YPO, we pride ourselves on our challenging but rewarding apprenticeship scheme. Our apprenticeships offer routes into a range of different career options, offering hands-on industry experience alongside classroom learning. Our apprentices train towards a paid accreditation whilst gaining practical experience within the workplace.

We launched our apprenticeship scheme in 2011 since then we’ve employed 99 apprentices in all areas of the business including procurement, marketing, HR, IT, customer services, sales, operations, and logistics.

Equal opportunities

YPO is an equal opportunities employer with a vision to be the number one supplier of products and contracts to the UK public sector through recruiting and retaining the best talent.

We’re committed to supporting the principles of equality and diversity in employment and encourage, values, and manage diversity.

We recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people regardless of gender, gender reassignment, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, and nationality.

YPO is committed to employing disabled people, and reasonable adjustments will be made to the recruitment procedure to ensure that no one is disadvantaged because of their disability. If a disabled person is appointed, reasonable adjustments will be considered for the workplace, including premises and equipment, duties, practices, or policies.

All applicants who confirm on their application form that they consider themselves to have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010, and who meet the essential criteria as defined in the Job Description will be invited for a longlisting interview. Shortlisted applicants who have a disability will be asked if there are any reasonable adjustments required to enable them to attend the interview. Recruiting managers must adhere to these principles. Appointment to the post is based on merit.
