About the role

Walker Singleton are expanding, adding to their successful Commercial Property Management team. They are interested in applications from established Senior Property Management Professionals, with a track record of business development expertise, and candidates with strong technical knowledge looking to take the next step in their career.

The position will involve technical property management duties across multiple asset classes, working with a friendly well-established team. The successful candidate will work with the Partner in the team, responsible for the full range of property management duties, as well as managing client relationships and professional work. You will manage the Facilities Management team and be assisted by credit control accounts employees as you undertake your responsibilities for rent collection, service charge matters, inspections, service of section 25 notices/agreeing new lease terms, managing repairs, rent reviews and dilapidations.

You will need to be committed to excellent customer service and have a good understanding of compliance procedures and the relevant legislation surrounding the management of property will be very important.

You may already be operating at Director or Partner level but interested in a new challenge. There is a clear path for progression to the next level, and for the right individual this could be an excellent move to achieve the promotion you deserve and cement your long-term career plan.

There is good support structure in the team, freeing you to build excellent relationships with both clients and tenants, and advising on property management or investment matters across client’s whole portfolios. You may have well established client relationships in your own business already and this would be an opportunity to build on these further, as well as establish and maintain new business streams.

There is a mix of industrial, retail, office and leisure so a broad experience will serve you well. You will assess tenant’s applications and instruct/liaise with solicitors and provide detailed reports whilst working towards the goals for the commercial property department, and identifying new business opportunities.
