We offer an online training platform via Hays covering “my work transition toolkit” provided to you when you join. This focusses on skills that will assist our contractors to become more digitally enabled, adaptable and agile. It also provides support to “be your best” as well as advice and guidance on well-being.
What’s in it for you?
You will have the opportunity to learn about Vodafone before you start your contractor role through our interactive app and once onboard, you will be supported during your journey.
All contractors are invited to an onboarding session to help show you how to complete timesheets and answer any questions you may have in your first few days working with Vodafone. You will also receive invites to attend some of the Vodafone Induction sessions so you can learn more about us.
We have a centralised email address that incumbent contractors use to communicate with the onsite team who manage the contingent worker desk for Vodafone. This feeds into data to measure performance and understand, when, how and why our contractors are contacting us and measure how we are performing against our Key Performance Indicators, allowing us to shape and improve on our service offering.
We have a dedicated team that support your onboarding and engagement whilst you are working at Vodafone. They are available to answer any query; pay, timesheets, contract extensions.
At Vodafone, we use a rate card across all skills sets and roles to ensure that contractor pay is fair and consistent. This rate card is reviewed, as a minimum, every twelve months where the pay rates are evaluated against the external UK market to ensure we continue to offer competitive pay.
Vodafone engages with all contractors under a PAYE arrangement which therefore ensures that we offer comparable pay to permanent employees and actively encourage applications for individuals looking to transition into permanent employment.
