The HR department has a key role to play in enabling the successful pursuit of the University’s strategic objectives.​

The strategy has highlighted the need for an improved understanding of the drivers of institutional performance and the importance of ensuring the continued effective delivery of Human Resources activities, for all groups of staff, across all stages of the employee lifecycle.

University of London are therefore in the process of implementing a new departmental structure that both better supports the University Strategy and enables a more pro-active customer-centric approach to continuous improvement. 

The University are committed to ongoing investment in the development of the team and to the work they have started to improve business processes and systems. The team will continue to act as trusted advisors and critical friends and to increase their capacity to be providers of meaningful workforce intelligence that enables effective workforce planning and development.
