The University of Nottingham is going through a Procurement Transformation programme, to enhance the University’s capabilities and to ensure the Central Procurement Team not only become an operation of excellence, but continue to work closely with our staff, students, supply chain, public sector partners and the local community. We are committed to embedding lean purchasing practices and decision making that follows principles of good financial governance and delivers best value to the University and its students.
As part of this programme a number of new positions have been identified within Procurement to support the University. It is an exciting time to join the team as we are embarking on a new journey, to ensure Cashable and Non-Cashable savings, Supplier Rationalisation, Contract and SRM and to ensure progression toward CIPS Certification.

These roles offer you the opportunity to provide an impact on our sourcing activities by providing your in-depth procurement knowledge, PCR15 / OJEU experience, market and category knowledge, experience to instigate and drive savings, contract management, exceptional supplier relationship and stakeholder relationship management.
