As a Business Analyst, you will work end-to-end across the product lifecycle and will lead on discovery, requirements definition, process mapping, testing, and implementation. You will play a pivotal role in embedding sustainable change within the organisation whilst encouraging and promoting best practice across programmes and the wider analysis team.
In this recruitment round, we are seeking a Business Analyst to work across our Research, Knowledge Exchange & Enterprise service area. The RKEE Service is supporting the activity in academic research and knowledge exchange, as well as UAL Short Courses and other enterprise areas.

Experience
- Experience of working within a large organisation to deliver change
- Ability to elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple teams
- Demonstrable experience of mapping ‘as-is and ‘to-be’ processes to identify inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities
- Engaging and supporting stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and fostering strong stakeholder relationships and communication channels
- Creating and refining user stories and managing backlog prioritisation in partnership with product teams
- Support the translation of complex business problems into technical solutions
- Lead business analysis activities throughout the discovery phase, implementation and BAU transition of system implementation projects.
- Translation of requirements and business processes into test scenarios to drive UAT
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques such as BPMN, and of delivery frameworks and methodologies such as Agile and Product
- Experience of successfully embedding change through testing, training and early life support of new/updated processes and information systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
