As a Lead Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for the accuracy and quality of data and analysis on our digital products, and for how data and analysis are used to understand and nudge user behaviour.
This role will lead the development, implementation and maintenance of data and analytics within Student Experience and collaborate with the UAL Data analysis & Data Analytics teams to develop data and analytics strategies for UAL. You will analyse and interpret data from multiple sources across the university to provide valuable insights. For example, measuring and understanding behavioural data to drive improvements across our products and services right though to providing the data to sunset or scale products or join up customer journeys across services. You may manage a small team of performance analysts to ensure timely delivery of insights.
At an exciting time for the transformation of UAL’s digital capabilities, this role will be integral to building a data led ways of working and developing a data strategy that will be used to inform operational and strategic decisions for our digital products. To achieve this, the Lead Performance Analyst will need to cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
In this recruitment round, we are seeking a Lead Performance Analyst to work with our Student Experience service teams as we focus on creating and enhancing a seamless and reliable digital experience.
Experience
- Substantial experience in data analysis with a track record of delivering projects that add value to the business.
- Experience developing data strategies and setting up data structures.
- Experienced working with analytics platforms e.g. Google Analytics to deliver value from data.
- Understanding of data visualisation tools (Power BI / Tableau).
- Experience working with large datasets and databases and interrogating the underlying data sources, advising on data quality issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience of SQL would be beneficial.
