Translink is a brand name which incorporates the whole group of services which operate scheduled bus and rail services in Northern Ireland, including cross-border and cross-channel links.

The board of Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company is responsible to the Department for Infrastructure for the operation of its subsidiary companies, Metro, NI Railways and Ulsterbus, which deliver public transport services. The Board is responsible for the strategic direction of the Group in accordance with the strategy set by the Department for Infrastructure. It is responsible for good corporate governance throughout the Group.
